Dr. Song received his Medical Degree with Honours in 2008 and trained at the Gold Coast Hospital. He worked in various specialists including Radiation Oncology, Psychiatry, Emergency medicine to name a few.

At one point he underwent specialist trainee in Radiology but decided to pursue General Practice due to the lack of patient contact. Dr. Song found his true passion in General Practice and is committed to providing excellent patient care and establishing personal connection with his patients.

When he is not at work, he spends most of his time with his wife, son and daughter. Being born and raised in South Korea and having the opportunity to live in other countries including the Philippines, Japan and USA, he learnt many different cultures and values which enables him to relate to people of different nationalities.

DR CHUCK FUNG KONG

Dr Chuck graduated from Monash University in 2005. Prior to starting general practice, he has had extensive work experience in various medical fields, including general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, emergency, and anaesthetics.

He has previously worked in metropolitan Melbourne, Tasmania, and rural Victoria before moving to Queensland in 2015.

Dr Chuck enjoys all aspects of general practice with special interests in chronic disease management, medical acupuncture, men’s health, and travel medicine.

Dr Chuck speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

Dr Justin Wong graduated from the University of Queensland and holds fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is originally from Canada and speaks fluent English, but can also speak Cantonese. Embracing the diversity within general practice, Justin finds fulfillment in the breadth of his work. Prior to his medical journey, he served as a professional engineer in the Canadian oil and gas industry. This unique background enriches his approach to patient care, blending technical precision with a holistic understanding. Justin remains dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare, drawing from his multifaceted experiences to create a positive impact in the lives of his patients.

DR JACK TSAI

Skin Cancer Medicine, FRACGP, Master of Clinical Medicine, (UQ)

Dr. Jack Tsai brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to Renaissance Medical and Skin Clinic.

With a Master of Medicine in skin cancer from the University of Queensland, Dr. Jack has undergone an additional two years of advanced study in skin cancer medicine, ensuring his proficiency in diagnosing and treating skin conditions.

Dr. Jack is known for his highly accurate diagnostic rate and extensive experience in various plastic surgical techniques. He takes pride in offering tailored treatment options to meet each patient's unique needs, and his approach is characterised by a "see something, do something" mindset. With Dr. Jack, Patients can expect not only accurate diagnoses but also prompt initiation of treatment.

Having recently relocated to the Gold Coast in 2023, Dr. Jack brings over a decade of experience from his previous tenure at the Melanoma Scan clinic in Brisbane. His multicultural background, with roots in Taiwan and education in Vancouver, Canada, adds a unique perspective to his practice. Dr. Jack commenced his medical training at the University of Queensland in 2004, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
